Dear Gent,

With reference to your letter 53514/35 of the 12th November, 1935, regarding the new aerodrome in the New Territories, Treasury have agreed verbally that we may place at the disposal of the Hong Kong Government the funds required for disbursement on account of the resumption of the land at Pat Heung.

We are instructing the Air Officer Commanding, Far East, accordingly and presume that the local Government will be prepared to acquiesce in acquisition proceeding on this basis.
